Rocket Ship
The rocket ship cake was one of the more challenging cakes I made. My visual was so different from the actual result! I also completely misjudged the size of the top rocket shaped cake I carved from a sheet cake. My first attempt was WAY too big to sit on the base sheet cake layer. Oops! Then I had problems getting the frosting to stick to the rocketship after I re-carved it to fit. I think I got it looking mostly okay after several attempts, lol.
